A must for dog trainers and even dog owners who do training at home is a dog treat pouch. This Nylon Dog Treat Pouch is one of our favourites and gets used every training session. It lets you have two free hands whilst having rewards ready close by.
The Petbarn Nylon Dog Treat Pouch has a special clip so that you can attach it to your pants, a pocket, or a belt. It also has a drawstring feature so that you can close the treat pouch when you are not using it.

KONG Classic, Puppy and Extreme
KONG provides great products, but one of our favourites is the KONG Classic. The KONG Classic is a dog toy for chewing and fetching. It bounces in unpredictable directions, which makes it super fun when playing a game of fetch.
KONG Classic is made from rubber for the average chewer. It has a hole down the middle which can be used to fill with treats such as the KONG Easy Treat (designed for these). This toy is great to mentally stimulate your dog.
You can also buy KONG Puppy which is made from a softer rubber for puppy teeth and gums. There is also the KONG Extreme, which is designed for strong chewers, it is the most durable of all the KONG rubbers.

Dog Agility Weave Poles
For the dog owners who are willing to get active with their dogs, agility weave poles are a great investment. Agility is a type of dog sport where owners will train their dogs to get around a course as quickly and as accurately as possible. It is a competitive sport but also just a fun activity for at home.
You don’t need to be super fast, just go at your own pace with your dog and enjoy the activity together. The agility weave poles are used to weave your dog in and out, you can buy a set of 6 to begin with and then you could even progress onto 12.
These agility weave poles are 50 cm apart from each other and are made out of soft plastic to prevent injuries if your dog runs into a pole. They come with a bag and can easily be packed away. One of the products we use regularly is the DOOG Walkie Belt. This is a very handy product to have when out walking your dog, at a dog park or even training. This belt is worn with a quick release buckle and the size can be adjusted.

Another active dog and owner product is the dog agility training jump bar. This is another obstacle that is used in agility courses but is easier to train than the weave poles. Jump bars are simply a raised bar that your dog must jump over.
